It is safe to say that Don Tieden has been involved in the transportation business all of his life. It was during his childhood that he got his first taste of the business. Don's father was in the trucking business and as in any family business, Don played a part in that. Don served our country in the U.S. Army from 1956 through 1959. (Interestingly enough, he served in Germany with Elvis Presley during 1959.) Upon Don's return to the states, he started driving a truck and became more entrenched in the trucking industry. In 1984 Don decided to embark on a new adventure, opening Arizona Pacific Transport, Inc., along with his wife Mae.
